  • HM Panipat is generally considered a Tier 2 institute in the ranking of hotel management schools in India. Tier 1 institutes usually include top-ranked schools like IHM Pusa (Delhi), IHM Mumbai, and IHM Bengaluru, which are known for their higher rankings, reputation, and placements. While IHM Panipat offers quality education and is well-regarded in the hospitality industry, it is typically placed in the Tier 2 category due to factors like lower cutoff ranks and overall placement records when compared to Tier 1 IHMs.

IHM Panipat is an Indian Tier 2 institute for hotel management. It was the first Catering College of Haryana. The college started in 1973 along with three-year degree course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and a Diploma Course. It is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, which is the premier body for hospitality education in the country.
