IIIT Delhi is a governement institute. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, usually referred to as IIIT Delhi or IIIT-D, is a state-level institution that was founded in 2008 and had its inaugural class of 60 students. The University Grants Commission has recognised the institute's main campus, which is situated in Okhla (UGC).
