    Yes, Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune also knows as IIIT Pune is a vital part of the IIIT chain of institutions and is a Government Institute. It is a newly established IIITs set up under the Public-Private Partnership in the year 2016. The institute is guided by College of Engineering, Pune .     Yes, IIIT Pune (Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune) is a government institute. It was established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and few industry partners as Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) Institution. In August 2017, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance (INI).
