    Yes, Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune also knows as IIIT Pune is a vital part of the IIIT chain of institutions and is a Government Institute. It is a newly established IIITs set up under the Public-Private Partnership in the year 2016. The institute is guided by College of Engineering, Pune . IIIT Pune is an institute of National Importance that was established with the aim of addressing the difficulties faced by the IT sector in India.     Yes, IIIT Pune (Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune) is a government institute. It was established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and few industry partners as Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) Institution. In August 2017, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance (INI).
