  • The tuition fee for the English/Hindi Journalism courses at IIMC Aizawl has been increased from INR 79,000 to INR 95,000 per year. In contrast, the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Multimedia Journalism, with tuition fees of INR 4.60 Lacs for a 10-month course and INR 87,000 for a 1-year course. Therefore, IIMC Aizawl is more expensive than ACJ. However, it is essential to note that the specific courses and durations may vary.

ACJ is way better since it adopts modern teaching methods and has a distinctly application-based approach. Since it is promoted by The Hindu, the ethical standards are worth imbibing. In terms of brand value, IIMC is way ahead but then the teaching style is largely content-based and it is about three years behind in terms of syllabi and teaching methods. However, at IIMC you have a more diverse student base and it is a government-run institute.
