IIT Kanpur is better than IIT BHU according to ranking but all iits are best in their own, depends upon the branch you got in IIT BHU I. e. you have two option let assume textile in Kanpur and ECE in IIT bhu then afcourse IIT bhu ECE is better option.

All IITs are good it depends on you that how much you make use of it, opportunities provided by both the IITs are mostly same, its the infrastructure and the curriculum which brings IIT Kanpur above IIT BHU but job opportunities provided will be almost same.

IIT Kanpur is considered better than IIT bhu, not just because of nirf ranking but also for the opportunities and campus out there with strong alumbase.

IITs do having a raking system within themselves, but if you're it IIT you don't need to worry much, maybe BHU is slightly lower than Kanpur, but above all other engineering colleges for sure ,with the best placements.
