Yes, IIT Bombay is one of the best college in India for engineering, Established in 1958, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is the first public college to have assistance from UNESCO. In 1961, IIT bombay was declared as an Institute of National Importance by the Indian Parliament. In 1961, IIT Bombay was one of the first IITs to be declared an 'Institute of National Importance' by the Parliament of India.
