Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), Goa is one of the youngest IITs established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in 2016. It has been mentored by IIT Bombay for three pioneer years. Currently, the Institute offers three courses, namely B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in various core and non-core specialisations. It is a public college and not a private college. Being a public college, the fee is set in such a way as to make it affordable for the students.
