    Yes, IIT Kharagpur is good for placements. As per media reports, the highest package offered so far during the 2025 placements was INR 2.14 crore per annum. Further, 13 students have secured international offers and the total count of offers made stood above 800.

    IIT Kharagpur is a great option for students because of its stellar reputation for job placements. 700 offers total in the first day of the 2024 placement season, including 19 overseas offers and 6 packages valued at more than INR 1 crore annually.     IIT Kharagpur is highly regarded for its overall quality, including its library facilities. In terms of placements, the college boasts a 100% placement record for my branch, with the highest package reaching 20 Lacs and the lowest at 12 Lacs per annum.
