IIT Roorkee is one of the best college for B.Tech. Yes, the college is a good choice for B.Tech as the faculty of the college is also well educated and has friendly behavior towards the students. The college also offers good placement to the students the college has a good campus area and provides campus placement at a high placement rate of about 88% and the Hostel Facilities are also very good. The hostel has AC Facilities and, Wi-Fi facilities also. The mess food of the Hostel is also very good in taste. The College also provides Summer Internship to the students.

The 6th IIT to be designated as an Institution of National Importance is IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee has received approval from the UGC, AICTE, and NAAC. Located in Uttrakhand, IIT Roorkee is a public technological research university. The oldest technological university in Asia, IIT Roorkee was granted university status in 1949 and was placed 5th in the Engineering category by the NIRF 2023. Additionally, India Today 2023 ranks the school 5th in the engineering (government) and engineering categories.
