The entrance exam for Indian Army BSc nursing exam has been scrapped. The basic eligibility is to appear for the NEET UG exam. In addition, an online physchological exam will be conducted for a duration of 30 minutes. In addition to this, admission to MNS services requires candidates to appear for an aptitude test named Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE). This exam is conducted in addition to the Psychological Aptitude Test (PAT) which is required to shortlist candidates for the further round of selection i.e. Interview.

The notification for admission to the BSc Nursing/MNS programme for the academic year 2024–2028 will be made available in April 2024 by the Indian Army, either as MNS 2024 or BSc Nursing 2024. For the purpose of awarding admission to the BSc Nursing program, the selection committee, also known as the DGMS, or Directorate General of Medical Services (Indian Army), will administer the aptitude test and provide counseling.
