Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) placements are comparatively pretty decent. The average salary package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. About 85-90% of the students get placement here. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. It is in Rank-band 151-200 in Engineering category as per National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) - 2023, Ministry of Education (MoE).

I think that when it comes to aeronautical engineering, IIEST is the best college.Moreover, IIEST Shibpur is regarded as one of India's most prestigious engineering schools. Comparing the two colleges, IIAE was founded in 2001 and is a private institution, whereas IIEST was founded in 1856 and is a government institution with a larger course selection than IIAE.

The two colleges' placement and fees varied significantly.IIAE charges INR 9.20 Lacs for a four-year programme, while IIEST charges INR 5.00 Lakh. When compared to IIAE, IIEST is better positioned.

In my opinion, IIST is superior to any other college in terms of aerospace engineering.Additionally, IIEST Shibpur is considered one of the most esteemed engineering colleges in India. As if we compare both the colleges IIAE was established in 2001 and it is a private college whereas IIEST was established in 1856 and is a government college which offers more courses than IIAE.

There is a huge difference in fees and placement of both the colleges. IIAE offers a 4 year program that will cost INR 9.20 Lacs whereas IIEST will cost INR 5.00 Lakh. IIEST has the best placement compared to IIAE.
