Indian Maritime University is a government university that offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the field of maritime. The university has six campuses located in Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai Port, Navi Mumbai, and Visakhapatnam. Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Campus is the only university in India that offers B.Sc. (Maritime Science) degree programme with dual certification in nautical and engineering streams. The institute places all of its graduates, and the leading employers include BW, Wilhelmsen, Stena, Maersk and others. The university has a dedicated placement and training cell that trains students for industry requirements.</p>
