The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM) in Chennai is a government institute. It was established in 1963 as a joint collaboration between the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu. The institute is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism. It is also affiliated with NCHMCT, Noida, and IGNOU, New Delhi. IHM Chennai is ISO certified and accredited by IAO, HLACT, and AACBE. It caters to students from India and international students from the SAARC countries.
