Is Ireland good for doing masters in software engg, please give me some more details in this.

Ireland is indeed a good choice for Computing and Software as all major companies have their European Headquarters based out of Republic of Ireland. Software is also one of the priority sector identified by the Government for further investment, hence chances of increased opportunities.

Yes British degree is well respected and recognized around the world.
Go for it. Master degree in UK is just of 1 year and after that you can work for another 1 year on same student visa.
