Is it a good choice to pursue B.Des from Chandigarh University? Should I take admission in LPU instead of Chandigarh University?

Can't comment on CU but on the basis of feedback from Alumnus, I will recommend you to finalise LPU.
1. Four year B. Design programme is Internationally accepted programme for global careers, which trains students in the domains of print, package design, UI design, motion graphics and environmental graphics.
2. A set of four elective courses in a related area are offered to develop a competency beyond the major area

#ANIMATION
#CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
#EFFECTS AND SIMULATION
#GAMING
3. In order to deliver the best, tie ups with industry has been established where content is delivery by industry experts, Projects are executed in collaboration with industry and Internships are floated to engage deeply in hands on real-life situations
4. Student after successful completion of 3 years will have two choices :- (a) To move out with B.Sc. (Design - Graphics) Degree, (b) To continue for the next 1 year. To complete B. Design (Graphics) Degree.
5. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour (International Exposure Option) to USA/
European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. The course further aims to:
# Explore and ideate new designs solutions through technology and material exploration to fulfill the evolving needs and aspirations of the society. # Use software skills for designing and production of ideas visually and in final form. # Design and development of brand identity and its marketing. # Analyze progress of human civilization through study of art, materials, techniques and technologies and synthesize the learning to create contemporary designs. #Communicate effectively ones thoughts and ideas, express design concepts clearly, comprehend and create reports, make effective presentations and give and receive clear instructions. #Discharge different roles and responsibilities in an organisation effectively as an individual, team member or a leader. LPU has campus placements in companies like Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studio, DQ entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation and so on with maximum packages of 8 Lacs per annum and average packages are 5 Lacs per annum. After reading above information, think now you can make your decision as I did for my nephew and he is in second year of graduation in LPU
I will advise you to book the seat at the earliest or maximum by 15-7-2020. Hope this helps.

Lovely Professional University is definitely good. It has more experience in the field of education as it became a university in 2006 whereas Chandigarh University was established as a university 2 years ago only. LPU has an awesome infrastructure, well-qualified faculty and a wonderful placement record.
