Hi Uttkarsh, The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. If the University is ICAR approved, It means the university has all the resources like fields, labs, etc. And it will help you to get a better job. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Doctorate. This and provide full support to the students. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages up to 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.

Feeding the world will never face a recession or a slowdown. In fact, the development in technology, research, and innovation has multiplied the scope of agriculture in a big way. B.Sc. Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate professional course offered by various government and private universities in India. The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. Course fees are also considerably lower in comparison to other professional degrees, while rewarding with good jobs and a better package. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture.
