Hello! Yes, it is a very good choice as the faculty and placements are very remarkable of CSE. LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes. So, when we are talking about universities then the parameters are - infrastructure, faculty, labs, placements, exposure, rank, tie-ups, accreditation and many more. Now coming to LPU, presently LPU is a brand by itself because of its modern infrastructure, labs, experienced faculty members and exceptional placement records, international exposure, tie-ups and the list goes on. Hello, Once I was travelling by train from New Delhi to Jalandhar and on my adjacent seats, two students were sitting who were studying in engineering in LPU. Being an educator, I was curious to know about the University, so the same I did. The points they highlighted I will mention below 1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent. 2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-10 LPA. 3)They give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job or you want to be an entrepreneur. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 5) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio. 6) Last but not the least, the students told me that LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. If You are not getting any government colleges whether it is central or state then you can go for LPU as option for B.Tech as it is providing good scholarship amount for students in tuition fee and good in campus exposure and placements.
