Things for which you might like UEM Kolkata: Some of the best faculty members of West Bengal. Good infrastructure. Absolutely 0% ragging. You might bag a big salary like the students of IEM if you study well (since there is a joint placement with IEM). You will get free coaching for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, UPSC, etc., from the 1st year. Workshops and seminars are organized very frequently inside the campus. UEM-Kolkata ranked no. 1 in whole India in NPTEL examination in the SeptemberOctober cycle of 2016 and received an "AAA" rating from the NPTEL, and IIT-Madras. NPTEL is a joint initiative by Seven IITs and IISc-Bangalore are funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development which provides e-learning through online Video courses in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Management and Humanities. Many national and international level conferences like UEMCON, Optronix, IEEE CCWC, etc., are organized by UEM-Kolkata. Guest lectures are very frequent in UEM-Kolkata.
