Is it a good choice to pursue B.Tech from UPES?

An honest review: This college is not a good option if you aren't going for APE branch. If you have got a choice between UPES and any other government college, Manipal, SRM, VIT,etc. Choose them, Because the biggest problem in the college is it doesn't have a campus life because the campus hostel itself is located 4 kms away from the campus. TOO EXPENSIVELacks Infrastructure/Campus is too smallNO AUDITORIUMhardly any visible extra-curricular activitiesFest is averageUNIFORM !Placements are really not good. (Except APE and ADE)Dehradun as a city itself is pretty boringConnectivity issues.Substandard sports facility. No indoor sports. No tennis courts. No swimming pool.I know most colleges don't offer very good placements. But the fact is that a campus life makes a lot of difference. So it's better to go to a place where you will at least enjoy 3/4/5 years of your life.
