    LPU is one of the best private university which offers more than 250 programmes out of which Engineering is most in demand. In Engineering (B.Tech) different branches are there like CSE, ECE, Robotics, ME, IT, Chemical Engineering, FT, BT, AE and many more which are accepted by the industry.     LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA.

There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students.     LPU is having unbeatable placement record. LPU sets the record of the highest Engineering Placements in North India for Three consecutive years. LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
