Is it a good choice to pursue B.Tech in IT in NIT, Srinagar?

I dropped a year for JEE Mains preparations. There is a lot of ruckus going on in Srinagar.

    Yes, it is a good decision to pursue B.Tech. You have appear for JEE mains entrance exam to get admission for the same.

    If you are not keen interested in computer languages, I don't recommend B.Tech in CSE or IT because in today's world there is a huge crowd of students in CSE and in near future there will be very tough competition in IT field.
    So, think twice before taking CSE or IT.
