Yes, it's a good choice to pursue B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from Chitkara University. Chitkara is no doubt ranked quite higher than other private universities in north India. It's quite a big University, huge infrastructure, all modern facilities are available for students with student clubs,

I don't know about Chitkara but I do know about LPU. LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical.
