Is it a good choice to pursue B.Tech in robotics or mechatronics? What is its scope? Which are the best colleges to pursue these courses?

I live in Punjab and here people know very less about mechatronics and robotics. I really want to do this but I am not getting any help and support.

    Yes, robotics or mechatronics are an upcoming field with wide applications in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. The best colleges in India are:
    IITs in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur.
    Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
    National Institute of Technology.
    University of Hyderabad.
    Birla Institute of Technology and Science.Roorkee Engineering and Management Technology Institute.
