It's true that nowadays a lot of engineers are jobless but most of them are mechanical and civil for which job are little low in India but i still say that engineering is a good choice if you select the right branch which suits your interests and in india CS and IT branches have growing scope due yo

To get admission in IIT and NITs, you need a valid JEE Mains score. Prepare well for JEE Mains.

B.Tech is a good course. You can surely pursue it if you interest in it. But, I would advice you to pursue it from some reputed university which has good campus placements such as IIT NIT, bits etc. Otherwise, due to a lot saturation in this field it will be difficult for you to find a good job.

Yes, it is as this stream is an evergreen stream and will not lose it's importance in the coming time and also jobs for the engineers are increasing in India because of Make in India programme of government of India.

Yes, definitely, it is a good choice to opt for B.Tech if you have passion and required technical skills and creativity for it. B.Tech study requires a good analytical, logical and creative thinking. No course is good or bad, it all depends upon your interest. Scope of B.Tech is that you can get jobs in MNCs and you will be paid a good handy amount.
