Is it a good choice to pursue civil engineering? Which engineering branch should I opt for in Tezpur University, civil or mechanical?

Both the department here are good & boast of awesome professors but placement here is bit problematic else everything here is good. But in order to chose branches, I'll better Suggest you self assessment of yourself and determine what you like the most & pursue the same.
