Is it a good choice to pursue engineering from a private college if I fail to get admission in a government college?

Private universities and colleges are updated with latest requirements by industries. One major thing that reputed private institutes take care of as compared to government college is to ensure that maximum companies comes for campus hiring, and also offer internships to deserving students.
