    Hi Sakthi,
    Any career is a good choice if you have the urge/interest and long-term plans for it. Pursuing law after completing electrical engineering seems likely a confusing choice, as both aren't related to each other in any way. But yes, it depends, if you have long-term goals for it, like going for UPSC with the law as an optional subject and get to know the Arts subjects, which are generally common to the UPSC subjects, then this step taken by you to pursue law won't be a loss.
