Is it a good choice to pursue M.Sc (Hons) in chemistry from LPU?

As a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would like to answer this question. I did CSE from LPU and my experience at LPU was amazing. During my graduation year, I had one roommate, She was pursuing M.Sc. (Hons)Chemistry. She used to discuss everything with me about class, friends, faculty members etc. She told me that they have good and experienced faculty members in their department. They were very helping. LPU teachers are passionate about the subjects and dedicated to seeing your potential power. They are dedicated and share the latest knowledge and skills with the students All the faculty members are highly experienced and they are very supportive and a lot of the faculty members have received some kind of appreciation award from somewhere and they've always helped the students to grow and learn a lot more. I can say Professors or faculty of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning Mostly faculty members are from IITs, NIT s and GATE qualified with Ph.D. degree and having 3-4 research paper publish. Most of them are also having postdoctoral degree from renowned foreign University. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. I hope this answer will clear your doubt.

One of my cousin who took admission in LPU last year told that the university floats more than 250 programmes with differential eligibility and fee structure. One of my cousin's friend was in Chemistry department who told that the University offers Hons. Chemistry at graduation and post graduation levels. He told and appreciated that the focus is on the learning of fundamentals and advances in all areas of chemistry for correlating concepts with the scientific happenings and deep rooted concept building in budding chemists to harness their potential in research and higher studies. He highlighted that the programme aims at: #Understanding and applying basic concepts of physical, organic, inorganic, analytical and green chemistry. #Performing procedures as per theory and laboratory standards in the areas of analytical and green chemistry for efficient and sustainable solutions. #Interpreting, synthesizing and analyzing physical and chemical properties for proposing effective process and procedures for industries. He further outlined that the key features of the programme. # Scientific exploration #Conduct experimentation #Ethics # Communication #Environment and sustainability # Individual and team work #Life-long learning In addition to this, the university offers: #International Exposure Option: Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries #Semester Exchange: Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. The fields offered are organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry. This programme prepares a student to become an effective teacher, chemist and a good researcher. In addition to these sectors student can also look towards IT sector as minor in IT is also being offered in this programme. I will advise you to book the seat at the earliest.
