Is it a good choice to pursue Masters or PG abroad?

Hi, Your choice will depend on a lot of factors such as expenses, your career plans and area of study majorly. University reputation also matters. You can go abroad, if it’s a reputed university. Otherwise, you can get into any university in India. Higher studies abroad means better exposure, also studying abroad does not necessarily mean a successful career, if you don't know what you want.

If you have good work experience and want to settle abroad, then it's a very good choice. But, if you don’t have any work experience, then you will not get a good college and placements. Most of the skills, which you acquire abroad, you can't use it in India and you would have to learn those. I hope it helps.
