Is it a good choice to pursue MBA from Amity University, Gwalior? How is its placement assistance?

As per my experience LPU is a much better option to join than Amity. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU. LPU focuses on the overall growth of the students. MBAs are great for a career change and thriving business opportunities. Graduates of part-time or full-time MBA programs have higher chances of holding a high-level management position and enjoying successful MBA careers. Over 50% of MBA graduates worldwide are senior managers or board directors. I suggest all students do an MBA course at LPU. Highlights of MBA at LPU are - 1) Accredited by ACBSP (USA). 2) Credit Transfer - Student after successful completion of 1 year at LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. 3) International Exposure Option - Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Lovely Professional University provides placement opportunities to all the deserving candidates, from all courses. It's up to the student's capability to be able to grab the opportunity or not. Till now thousand of students are placed at a very good package all around the world. Some of the alumni are working in the top 10 brands in the world. Placements: Placements offered by the LPU for MBA course are very good. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered till now is 42 LPA. If you are not choosing LPU for MBA, make sure you are into Iims or the deemed government business schools of India. Moreover, I would suggest you go through NIRF rankings 2020 for B-Schools and plan accordingly. LPU has been ranked 50th. Also, spending more money on colleges has nothing to do with the quality of education. It has to do with the quality of their infrastructure (for private colleges). I did MBA from LPU and LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. The university also gives us the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something we as professionals would require in our career. Guest lectures by experts and some really successful people are arranged by our department to widen our scope of learning. If I talk about faculty, Most of faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty was really helping. Even they helped her after regular university hours for her projects. Entrepreneurship projects are integral part of curriculum and help establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. I got opportunity to work on community development project on social issues to cultivate social sensitivity and sense of responsibility. They have ample of specializations in MBA and also provides dual specializations. The course offers specialisation offerings in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Information Technology, International Business, Financial Markets, Operations, Retail Management, Entrepreneurship, Hospital and Healthcare Management. And many more. More than 30 clubs to choose from. Clubs are good place for freshers to know how to work in teams and achieving a goal in a given time. LPU provide enough exposure to students so that one can stand well in coming era of his/her life. Many students are placed in reputed companies in different cities and some are placed abroad too. More than 150 companies including ITC, Asian Paints, HDFC, Federal Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global etc. And so on recruiting MBA students on an yearly basis with the highest package in MBA at 21 Lacs Per Annum and on a average package will be 4LPA TO 6 LPA with nearly 90 % placement rates. LPU keeps improving and increasing it placements packages year on year.

Amity University Gwalior has specially set up Campus recruitment center, to provide placements. It aims to provide 100% placement and has been able to achieve so, you can have a look at the official records, <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.amity.edu/Gwalior/pdf/Final_Placement_Report_Highlights_2017-18.pdf" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>https://www.amity.edu/Gwalior/pdf/Final_Placement_Report_Highlights_2017-18.pdf</a> Now it depends upon how much you have worked hard during your college days, if your college grades are good it catches the attention of the recruiters along with the number of related internships you have done, basically, a CGPA of 7 (at least) along with good internships will land you in good jobs, but if you have wasted this crucial time, it will be hard for even the university to get you placed, though most of the students get placed, they might not be satisfied with their salary. So, always keep looking for internships.
