Is it a good choice to pursue MBA from LPU?

Per my experience of 16 years as an educator, I SEE it from the point of view of following parameters: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the MBA programme must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any MBA programme. This is common to all the specializations. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a B-School is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Placements: Since the ultimate aim of attaining a skill/knowledge/degree is to have a career, it is desirable that whichever university you chose, It must have good industry linkages to attract the good recruiters which value fresh talent. LPU has excelled extremely well in all of these in last decade or so, more than 200 companies coming to campus for management grads is a big achievement as such. It proves that LPU is not just good, but one of the best choices or MBA. DVD.

Prakhar, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IIMs, IBSs, etc. The B-School of the university has ACBSP accreditation. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2016-2017 for campus placements like Hindustan Unilever, Arabol Lubricants Manufacturing LLC, Global Consumer Products Limited, Berger Paints, Vodafone (Punjab), etc. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students are given a lot of on-job training as well as work on projects where they can earn also. MBA placements of the university are very good.

Hi, Lovely Professional University received highest placement salary last year as 14 LPA and the number of companies visiting has also increased.

I can feel the excitement in people who are looking forward to start their college life but there are various factors that will go into making an institute the best for you. Academics is clearly a priority, but there are also other aspects such as facilities for research, affordability, placement opportunities and so on. All these have to be balanced to find the best place. Both the institutes are doing good but I would always prefer to choose LPU. I will tell you why? I have completed BBA-MBA from Lovely Professional University and got multiple offer letter from good companies, my experience has been phenomenal. The B-School of the university has ACBSP accreditation. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. MBA is a well-known programme at LPU. You can go for an integrated course here, as well. Faculty in our department is well-experienced and have expert knowledge who work on our skill enhancement. There are lots of career opportunities after MBA in different areas. The university has shown its commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process. The university also gives us the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something we as professionals would require in our career.
