    Hi,
Instead, choose a field of interest, complete your 12th take up either BE in Civil engineering or B.Arch for Architecture course.

Why do you want to do Diploma in Architecture first and then seek lateral entry admission in B.Tech Civil Engineering? Lateral entry admission in B.Tech Civil Engineering is offered by very limited colleges. You will also miss top engineering colleges such as IITs , NITs, BITS etc. You are advised to do 10+2 and then seek admission in B.Tech civil engineering.
