Is it a good decision? I want to go for Diploma in architecture after 10th and want to join civil engineering after it.

Hi, Instead, choose a field of interest, complete your 12th take up either BE in Civil engineering or B.Arch for Architecture course.

Why do you want to do Diploma in Architecture first and then seek lateral entry admission in B.Tech Civil Engineering? You are misintpreting shared info. Diploma holders can appear for JEE . IITs does not have lateral entry admission provision for Diplomaholders m
