Is it a good decision to appear in GATE exam after completing B.Tech in mechanical engineering?

I want to pursue MBA but before that thinking of acquiring two years of experience in the engineering field.

For pursuing your Masters in Business Administration kindly prefer CAT rather than GATE. GATE is for Technical courses. And you have made a wise decision to pursue MBA

sir i am writing gate exam for job only . i will write cat exam for mba admission . if i get good score in gate exam there is a possibility of more job opportunities. so iam writing gate exam then i will take a job for 2 years of experience then i will join mba is that a good decision? can plz give
