Is it a good decision to pursue M.Tech in automobile engineering?

I have done B.Tech in mechanical engineering. I am working in a college as an assistant professor.

    Automobile engineering degree course is offered by limited engineering colleges in India whereas every engineering college offers a degree course in mechanical engineering. In order to enhance your career growth in the education industry, I will like to recommend you to pursue M.Tech / Ph.D in mechanical engineering in comparison to mechanical engineering. This may also help you to switch career to core mechanical engineering industry.
