Is it a good idea to do MBA in finance if I am not a commerce or BMS student?

    When you put the question in such a context what I believe is, you are afraid and that someone might have scared you for the thought of taking MBA in finance for further studies. Either way, I will help the best I possibly can. You don't have to be a commerce background, otherwise the MBA colleges would go empty for not admitting engineers in their Finance course. Your degree to a certain extent becomes irrelevant, because you dive into the world of equities, debt, hybrid instruments, CD's, buy out, bail out etc. MBA finance guys are paid really handsome amount.     You can do MBA in finance. There is no need of doing B.Com or BMS for taking finance, you just need to pass you Bachelor's degree from any stream. It can be B.Com, BA or B.Sc, but you need to get at least more than 55% in your graduation.

    Yes, you can do MBA in finance, the minimum eligibility criteria to get into MBA is 50% marks in Bachelor's degree with any discipline. MBA in Finance is no easy course, think of it as a training for one of the most liable roles in the world. Yes, you will be handling the finances of the business and as everyone knows finances run an enter price and you will be in charge of that.
