Is it a good idea to go for BA in political science or BA in public administration?

Hello Shivam, I feel the public administration has a much wider set of opportunities of employment as compared with Political Science. These days almost every industry is looking forward to employing professionals in this field. Political Science can perhaps get you only teaching jobs.
