You can do so if you have an urge of entering into the corporate world. But doing MBA will totally lead you to whole new world of management besides of technical world. If you are in love with your technical field then, doing anything in your technical field you can achieve more what you seeking by

Before MBA, can I get 2-3 years of work experience? Is it helpful for me?

Yes, if you are interested in engineering then it is possible, if you have completed your high school education.

If you're looking to get into managerial field in your field of interest then yes, you can take up MBA after B.Tech, it will help you become a manager and help you understand about the management.
