Is it a good idea to pursue CMA after 12th? Does it have good scope in India? I am studying in 12th standard.

Hi NJ,
CMA is a pretty good option, an international certification sought after by employers globally and has a wide demand in India as well. It is offered by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) USA and the content is regularly reviewed by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA). However, you can pursue CMA only after your Bachelor's degree preferably B.Com, BBA, BMS. -
CMA has more scope in market than you think. For starters manufacturing industries in India are booming and they qualified CMA's to run their accounts. A CA might be enough, still they are not equipped with knowledge to handle accounts of manufacturing industries. CMA scope will increase more in the coming future as many compliances will be introduced.
