No, I don't think so but it all depends on your financial to mental conditions,it works sometime good and can help you in getting a job.

why should you want to do diploma after 12th?
Not a good move, you must go for B.Tech at this stage, just focus on engineering entrance exam and clear it to get admission in some of the reputed engineering colleges.
