Is it a good idea to study PCM and then B.Tech or Polytechnic followed by B.Tech?

I want to become a software engineer. What is the best way for the same?

    Dear,
    If you mean MPC as +2 board with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combination, I will say, that it is a better option. After +2 with PCM, appear in JEE mains or state joint and go for B.Tech in your preferred field.
