Is it a good idea to take lateral entry in UIT in the 2nd year? I am pursuing 1st year at Veltech DR.RR and Dr. Sr University.

Yes, you can take lateral entry in 2nd year, but it is more beneficial when all the subjects are same as in your present college. There might be a problem of adjusting with a new college and surroundings. The change can either be positive of negative. It is completely up to you as to how you manage the transition. There sure are lateral admissions but for the process you need to contact the management.
