It is certainly a good option to become IAS after BTech. You find plenty of such examples also these days.

The options are unlimited, as you have done your class 12 with science. With the combination of biology, physics and chemistry you can take up medicine, dentistry, Pharmacy, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, Microbiology). Yes itvis a good option but then be very sure about going in the admintrative line of Govt sector. It is difficult to come in merit in UPSC exam in the first attempt itself. You miight have to make more number of attempts. Judge yourself correctly and if you do posses the required skills and the bent of mind towards intense studies then go for it.

    Sure.
But first get into an IIT. Study and groom yourself because you have to decide the course of your life. Becoming and IAS office is not the end of the road.
