Is it a good option to pursue Diploma in automobile engineering followed by B.Tech in automobile engineering?

Yes, if you're sure that you want to become an engineer then go for the Diploma and as far as mechanical or automobile goes, you need a very good basic in the subjects like SOM, TOM, Design, Fluid Mechanics, etc. So Diploma will help you. It is a good choice to do pursue Diploma in mechanical or automobile engineering first because all your basic will be clear and after that do B.Tech in automobile engineering. You will have more opportunities after doing Diploma in mechanical engineering and you will get direct admiss
