Is it a good option to pursue embedded system and robotics after completing B.Sc IT?

Ninety-eight percent of all microprocessors are manufactured as components of embedded systems. Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and Science that includes mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer Science, and others. Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. Both these field are good for Electronics and ECE engineering graduates. All the best.

B.Sc in information and technology include the study of software development, software testing, software engineering, computer networking, web-designing, and database programming. Core skills required for robotics are - Computing and Programming - Programming is pretty important for robotics, so subjects like computer Science and information systems are a great choice. Design and Technology - Subjects that can boost the practical side of engineering include product design, graphic communication, technological studies, and manufacturing. Specific Engineering Disciplines - Some schools provide subjects in specific engineering disciplines such as automotive, bioengineering, electronics, mechatronics and mechanical engineering. Elementary level of these subjects is okay to go for Robotics. It's a good opportunity to go for robotics after B.Sc. IT as we can see that course are aligned. And there are a number of opportunities in robotics. Banks are heavily investing in robotic process automation, apart from the Defense sector, IT and manufacturing already working on this. Many students and working professionals prefer B.Sc distance education because it offers several job opportunities across various industries. B.Sc IT distance education, however, is different from a regular B.Sc course. This course specialises in the field of information technology. In fact, B.Sc IT distance education is also said to be similar to engineering in IT programmes. The course focuses on areas like processing, managing, storing and securing information. The program covers subjects like software development, information database, programming and networks among others. As B.Sc IT, you may find it difficult to cope with PG in subjects and compete with engineers, therefore, it is recommended that you specialize in IT field not in embedded systems or robotics.
