Is it a good or a bad choice to go aboard for Bachelors in engineering after 12th (CBSE)? What is the criteria for admissions in USA?
I am studying in 11th (CBSE) and haven't appeared for SAT, IELTS, etc.

Hi Ritesh,
Good or bad depends on the person's intention of studying abroad, his career plans, university choice etc. USA has many universities, it is definitely a good choice, if you get into one of the known ones. Getting an international exposure early in life is a good thing and will increase your career prospects. You are in class 11th and have time to prepare. Take the SAT and TOEFL, some universities want SAT subject tests too. Prepare early on, it takes around a year for the admission process to complete. You should also take part in extracurricular activities like voluntary work, Olympiads, sports, arts and culture etc.
