Is it a right decision to join LPU? I have not qualified JEE Mains.

Hi, The right decision depends upon your priorities, if you want to drop and feel that you can work for one more year and get a better college then go for it. No one can ever say package and all as it depends upon scenario when you are going to pass out. So take your call wisely and don't get affected by your friend's package. Instead think upon how you can improve each moment.

Surely joining LPU is a good choice that you will make. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps : 1. Register yourself on the portal 2. Fill the details 3. Choose the programme 4. Apply for LPUNEST 5. Make the payment for LPU NEST and Book the slot for the Exam I. e date and time for the exam as per your availability. 6. Appear and Qualify the LPU NEST and wait for Result 7. Participate in Online Counselling and Seat Allotment Process if applicable 8. After the seat allotment, proceed for Admissions. The first thing, I would say is both are the different thing I have qualified JEE Mains and I am currently an existing student at LPU, not me many other mates are pursuing his/her course at LPU because of the world-class exposure like top colleges in India. It is not only right, but a great decision in terms of your good career because if you haven't qualified in an entrance exam JEE Mains you have another entrance exam, which is LPU NEST, which will open the door for LPU, the top university will welcome you with the well-qualified faculty members. Please NOTE: As of now LPUNEST is mandatory to qualify to get admission at LPU

Hi dear, I wonder why would it be a wrong decision to join LPU and pursue a degree from there. LPU offers more than 200 courses and have different eligibility criteria. For most of the courses, one needs to qualify LPU NEST to get admission. Well for engineering courses, either you have to be a JEE-Mains qualified or you need to compulsorily qualify LPU NEST to meet the eligibility criteria. There is no other way to get admission in engineering courses. Despite all, joining LPU is one of the best decisions I have made till date. LPU is one of the leading institutes nowadays in India, the exposure one gets, the infrastructure LPU has, the diversity to witness and most important the quality education one gets from LPU is all one can expect from an institute like LPU. In short, joining LPU is the right decision. Hope this helps.

In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering.
