Is it a right step to do CSE from Lovely professional University?

I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was student of MBA here in LPU. But my room mate was from CSE department. Few points told by my room mate who did her studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universities, from all around the world. LPU students designed and created India's 1st Solar-Powered driverless bus which was featured in various national media and which made a maiden run in the Indian Science Congress 2019 held by LPU, which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. And many more, with great placement opportunities, there is a very good holistic environment for one to study and get ready for the corporate world while sharpening your skills and knowledge. The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. Dear Kunal, there are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in ECE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Hi Kunal, In my opinion, you should opt for B.Tech CSE in LPU. One of my friends did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and she is working in an MNC now. I had a conversation with her regarding her 4-year journey in LPU and I am going to share her experience with you. The staff is well qualified and most of them are Ph. D. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Dear Kunal, LPU is a best option to pursue graduation due to their excellent placement records. My younger brother done his Diploma and he got placed in Maruti Suzuki. One of my known also done B Tech. CSE and he got placed in AMAZON India with good salary package. Recently, I heard in news that Tanya Arora of LPU is placed in Microsoft with around 42 LPA. Hello, A big Yes, for choosing LPU. I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. You have taken the right step. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement. Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculty members, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculty members and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to cope up with such projects. LPU is best in all perspectives. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.
