    Why not. Of course, you can go there to join. However it could be far from where you live but that is inevitable when you want to study at best places. Tezpur University is a good institute. If you are getting a chance, don't waste it. Also, the people are very tolerant there and you will be fine.

    Yes definitely. I have a lot of friends and seniors from northern India here at Tezpur University!

    Tezpur University boast of being the #1 Central University of India having facilities comparable to many IITs & also the research output & Academic exposure is very good. All these sets it apart from all other central universities. But placement here is bit problematic else everything here is good.
