Is it advisable to do B.Tech in aeronautical engineering for becoming an astronomer?
I am class 12th student. I am interested in astronomy and I wanted to be an astronomer.

Hello Akshay, Astronomy can be called as specialist branch of physics. An astronomer need not be an engineer. In fact the only Indian astronomer was a pilot. Specialist from required branches of Science are selected by the national agency depending on the aim.
